Facilities and Accomodation

Most of the bedrooms are single ensuite and tastefully styled. Our residents are encouraged to bring personal items that they treasure to help create a sense of familiarity and comfort. Each room has a call system and room sensors for contacting staff, so that help can be obtained whenever the need arises. A payphone socket is located in every room to enable clients to make external calls.

We have a separate dining room where clients enjoy three home cooked meals a day. There is also a small sun lounge , making it bright and airy and ideal for morning coffee or afternoon tea. Many a resident use the dining room to simply have a glass of wine in the evening and chat with friends. The dining room is also utilised for celebrations including Christmas, birthday and charity events.

We take great pride in the quality of food provided, as this is such an important part of everyday life. Our cooks Andrea and Paula have been with us for many years and know each of the client’s individual likes and dislikes, tailoring the menu to suit the clients. They are both qualified cooks and trained in nutritional health, which is essential when monitoring client’s appetite and weight loss/gain.

Families and friends of clients are always welcome to stay for lunch or tea and can visit the home at any time without notification.
